About Dorothea

I was a preschool teacher for 16 years, leaving in 2021. I taught a class of 12 3-year-old students. A multi-cultural class (studying different countries) of 16 4-year-olds. And, a kindergarten literature class of 16 students. I then began to care for a 3-month-old boy. He is now 5 years old and is in school everyday. While teaching, I also held 2 positions caring for adults. One man with a spinal cord injury and a woman battling cancer. Responsibilities included transporting to doctor's appointments, meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, engaging in stimulating conversation and activities (I. e. walking, doing brain games and puzzles) I love to read, do puzzles, play games, garden, exercise and play with my dog
