About Ebony

When I was about 14 years old my elderly grandmother fell ill. She had a benign stomach ulcer which caused her to pass blood from her bowel movement or emesis. At that age it was quite frightening for me to see someone I loved & adore so much go throw so much pain. Instead of living a normal teenage life I had to assist my single mother in giving care to her while she couldn't be home because of work. Over the years my grandmother was constantly in & out of the hospital & I was amazed at the care that was given to her. I learned so much while being there. At age 19 I started my first job in a nursing home as a nursing assistant giving care to the elderly. I vowed from that point that any care I gave would be exactly the way I would have wanted someone to care for my grandmother in my absence. I've worked there for many years and also have also experience working in Dialysis , ICU , and the ER. In addition I am a recent new grad from a LPN program looking forward to climbing to be a NP.
