I have worked in the past.. 16 yrs ago.. personal care for an elderly woman.. who was 84 at the time... I worked for her part for six years.. before the family put her in a nursing home.... I cooked, bathed, medication, laundry, etc... she loved for me to read to her... and.. also she would love to tell stories of her past... also, On 9/7/07 my husband was treated for stage 1B lung cancer.... after 9 months it spread to the Brain... and then... it was a 4B... I was his personal caregiver... I fought for his life... gave him the best care living at home... all myself.... Doctors, medication, research, I learned so much.... taking care of him... He was my life.... I treated him... like I wanted to be treated... he lived until 5/31/10... with the best quality of life... that Cancer Hospital has seen ... we all of my personal experience...
