About Eilis

Hello! I am a current 3rd grade teacher on Long Island and have been teaching full time for 4 years. Prior to my teaching career, I babysat for over 10 years. I have worked as a full time nanny for two different families. I first worked as a nanny for an 8-year-old boy with Global Developmental Delays. When I began grad school my schedule changed and I began working as a nanny for a family of 3 kids (ages 3, 5 and 7). I worked with them for 2 years before accepting my first full time teaching job. I currently am only looking for occasional night time babysitting and am available on the weekends (can be regular, consistent dates or as needed). Additionally, I am available for tutoring. I am Wilson certified and have 3 years experience working at a school for students with language based learning disabilities (such as dyslexia). I enjoy spending time with children and making our time together engaging and fun for them while their parent(s) are enjoying themselves :)
