About Elaine

Dementia and memory loss is something that I have had a plethora of experience with in both watching and caring for my grandpa, uncle and now my own dad. Although my expertise is primarily in early childhood and elementary education it lends me to working with our wise, and beautifully complex elderly population as sadly many revert to more childlike behaviors and needs. I don't have any certifications in working with the elderly, however I do have a passion for soaking up their knowledge, stories of the past, and demonstrating kindness, understanding, patience, and respect to them at a time they are starting to decline in processing and understanding. Humans no matter the age, all deserve tenderness, dignity and to feel loved and valued. That is my specialty. Please reach out if I sound like a good fit for your family.
