About Elena

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, fun and empathetic I like caring for seniors because my father is a senior who is going through stages of dementia and I realize every time I go visit him it makes a big impact on him because he does not have too many visitors. He's in another state and I wish I could be there more, but have a family here. I work with other seniors whether they be in assisted living or on their own and I take them out for a picnic, shopping, a few hours of a fun filled afternoon and laughter. There's always a story to be told and I'm always eager to hear some of the stories. I am what you would call a FUN-GIVER and not a caregiver. This is not a job, this is what I'm passionate about. I'm looking for a job that I can make a difference in someone's life. When I leave, they are smiling and hugging me. It's all about the relationship.
