About Elena

I've been working with children of different ages and abilities for the last 14 years. I feel very comfortable and confident in this role and throughout the years developed strong bonds with families where I had the privilege to work. I am a mother to an adult daughter and I started working with children back in Russia where I was a teacher. After moving to the US, I worked for several families, both American and Russian as a babysitter and a tutor (references from all families are available). The most gratifying thing for me in my work is to ensure a positive, nurturing and safe environment in which a child is given lots of opportunities to learn, explore, wander and have fun. I especially enjoy carrying conversations with a child pointing out simple, everyday things to keep the curiosity wheels turning all the time. I've been able to establish a warm and friendly relationships with all children that I cared for.
