Am a home health aid with 6 years of experience, I've had the pleasure of spending time with wonderful folk. I begin with a lovely 86 years young gentleman in P with type 2 diabetes, we would go on walks, physical therapy, we would find ways to stay entertained and mobile, I would do the grocery shopping and pick up medication, we would go to doctor appointments, we would have museum/art experience every month, I helped with bathing, meal preparation, making appointments, laundry management, medication administration. After his passing I started taking care of his wife who was ill with Dementia-Alzheimer's, I had experience with a family member years before, I was easily accustomed to her schedule and needs. I was a home aid for 2 year with the same responsibilities as previously stated with the addition of ambulatory assistance. I'm adult CPR/ First Aid certified, I love to read and converse, I am very responsible, trustworthy, compassionate, and caring, with years of references.
