About Elijah

Hi, my name is Elijah, I'm 20 and I'm excited to share my unique experiences and skills with you. Growing up as a military kid, I was born in Japan and graduated high school in Hawaii. My family consists of four older brothers, one younger sister with Down Syndrome, five nieces, and two nephews, all of whom have enriched my life and taught me the value of empathy and inclusivity. During my time as the head of a dog kennel, I honed my leadership and management skills, overseeing breeding operations and ensuring the wellbeing of the animals in my care. I'm passionate about animals, and this experience instilled in me a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Currently, I am a student-athlete at the University of Saint Mary, where I play basketball. Being part of a team has taught me the importance of communication, collaboration, and accountability, all of which I bring to any team I'm a part of.
