About Elizabeth

Liz took care of our 1 year old daughter for approximately 2 months. Liz quickly proved herself as a truly incredibly nanny. She is genuinely attentive, caring, and playful. Liz has this amazing blend of a calm yet assured attitude that seems to come easily from her extensive experience. Our daughter was always happy and calm with Liz; every morning she looked forward to Liz’s arrival, greeting her with smiles and clapping as soon as Liz opened the door. She was careful to learn our daughter’s routine and any specific requests we had. Liz adapted very quickly and after a day we were comfortable leaving our daughter completely in her care. She’s just very competent, experienced, and trustworthy. Liz is very studied in child development, and her interest is clear. She was great at playing with our daughter, and very creative and patient with how she used toys. She is engaging when reading books, and easily makes for a captive audience. She also proactively took our daughter to the library and to the playground. We started working with Liz to fill a short-term gap in child care. We knew from the beginning that our work schedule did not align perfectly with her availability. However, we were lucky to be able to work with her for a few months. Our entire family, our daughter included, would have loved to continue working with Liz for long-term care if our schedules aligned. However, we absolutely will call Liz for any babysitting or short term needs when available. Our family cannot recommend Liz strongly enough. She is a treasure!
