About Elizabeth

Hello! I am a third-year nursing student at the University of Saint Joseph with a strong passion for working with children. As a member of the honors program at USJ, I have taken several child development and med courses. I am CPR certified for both children and infants through the American Heart Association. I have extensive experience working with kids aged 5 and older and some experience with infants. Previously, I worked as a horseback riding instructor where I adapted to the individual needs of each child. I also served as a camp counselor, responsible for supervising and engaging campers while ensuring their safety. I was also involved with ConnectiKids, where I voluntarily traveled to schools in Hartford, Connecticut, to tutor young children in math and sciences. I volunteered for special Olympics three years in a row aiding kids with special needs. Currently, I am on break from school and seeking to take on additional hours alongside my primary job at a hospital :)
