About Elizabeth

Hey there! My name is Liz and I am a fun-oriented, nature-loving lady that tries to spend every moment possible learning! I have worked with kids for the past 8 years in various capacities. I have 7 years of experience as a youth development professional in an experiential education setting as well as several summers' worth of experience in program development and implementation for the American Youth Foundation. I am a licensed Humanities teacher and have spent the past 5 years teaching in a K-12 setting. I also have experience teaching theater, music, environmental science, and social-emotional skills. Alongside teaching, I have also spent time nannying and babysitting for kids as young as newborns! I have experience working 1:1 with high-needs kids who have physical and/or cognitive disabilities. I continue to return to youth work for two main reasons: 1) kids are hilarious and fun, and 2) they always seem to be teaching me something-even if I am the one labeled "teacher".
