About Elizabeth

My name is Elizabeth and I'm a recent graduate from UMass Amherst. I have a degree in psychology with a specialization in Developmental Disabilities. Last summer I babysat kids through Care. com full time. I played games with the kids, made up fun activities, prepared food, and did house chores after putting the kids to bed. Working for two years as a paraprofessional for kids with disabilities and mental illness has developed my love for working with kids. My ability to connect with kids and create a culture of emotion-regulation and support has proved invaluable in helping students overcome social-emotional struggles and problem behaviors. My dedication allows students to explore their potential, participate in their social environment, and understand their emotional world.
