About Elizabeth

Greetings, I'm Elizabeth and El Paso born-and-raised. I am a graduate from the University of Chicago (Bachelor's in Anthropology), and of a nursing assistant program currently transitioning careers. I worked as a tutor and TA with K-12 children for 4 years, and have also done babysitting in the past. I'm able to help tutor your child with PSAT/SAT/ACT studies if desired. I also was a recipient of a QuestBridge College Match Finalist scholarship, and the NSLIY scholarship. I'm happy to help children with their college and scholarship preparation/application process as well. My childcare style is compassionate, structured, and supportive. I believe that healthy ground rules make for a happy, peaceful family dynamic. My goal is for each child to feel secure and free enough to blossom into their best self. I speak intermediate Spanish and am learning ASL from Dr. Bill Vicar. I am also musically gifted and would be able to provide lessons in beginners piano, guitar, or ukulele.
