About Elizabeth

I have been involved with children since the age of 13. I began babysitting when I became Red Cross certified with a class through the park district where I then was a nanny (ages 1.5, 4, 7) for two summers in a row along with random weekend babysitting jobs while I was in junior high/high school. During high school I was a life guard where I was CPR certified as well as first aid certified and worked with children of ages 1 month to 18. I then went away to college where I worked at a child care company for children of parents that were less fortunate. Here, I played games, read books, went to the park and gym, as well as helped children out with their Spanish as I have taken four years. The kids I was working with were of ages 1 to 12. I also just recently was full time help for 2-year-old twins with hearing issues working on potty training, speech and behavioral issues, as well as exploring the city with them. I have loved kids my whole life and actually aspired to be a pediatrics surgeon but due to financial difficulties will not be able to afford medical school so I just am in my senior year as a business major at college. Pets and child care are my passion. Most of my jobs have been based around children and I hope to carry on with that in the future. Please contact me!
