About Elizabeth

I'm easy-going and friendly. I enjoy spending time with elders! I have 3 years of experience caregiving for elders with a range of needs and differing levels of both physical and cognitive functioning, including those with dementia. I served primarily as a "companion" caregiver (being with clients, accompanying them out of the house, to entertainment events, etc) and also provided care with regards to bathing/hygiene, dressing, food preparation, transfer assists (I am not trained in full transfers). All clients I worked with lived in a care facility that had nursing staff who distributed medication. I'm passionate about deathcare and end-of-life work as well. My strengths are presence, attention to detail, compassion, humor, and organization. Please note that I do not have a nursing background (not a CNA, etc).
