About Ella

Hi, my name is Ella (she/they). I'm a former preschool teacher currently looking for a family who needs care in the mornings/afternoons. I am SIDS certified, have my early childhood education credential, and am CPR/first aid trained. I'm extremely experienced working with children ages 3 months - 5 years. I am well versed in the Reggio Emilia approach to children's learning and will be interacting with your child/children as such. I'm striving to help raise children who are anti-biased/anti-racist. I'm queer/non-binary, leftist, and will discuss my identities with your kids. I have a degree in environmental science, so I really emphasize exploring our physical world, talking about native species and caring for our environment. I enjoy being outside for a large chunk of the day. I also love doing art projects, dancing, cooking/baking, and going on walks. In my spare time I play the saxophone, am a volunteer birth doula, and want to be a social worker down the line.
