My experience with children first is as a mother of an amazing male adult. Prior to that I had years experience babysitting as a teenager, working in my son's family daycare. Working as an assistant teacher in a hospital Child Development center for 2 years. I have worked for Nannies Who Care Agency I originally went to college to become a Child Psychiatrist with a minor in Special Education. Unfortunately I never finished my degree due to a family illness. I was needed at home and that is what I did. I have always enjoyed the roll of caregiver in my family. I was Vice President of the P. T. A. at my son's school. I volunteered and mentored in the public schools . I was awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award: at a Middle School. I feel childhood is the most important time in ones life.. I feel it is a privilege and an honor to care for a child. I am a licensed C. N. A. I have Level 2 background check . I am also American Heart Association CPR Certified for Health Care Professionals.
