Hey there! I have 10+ years of childcare experience, working in several different environments. My previous work experiences include: teaching at an in-home daycare, a private learning center, and as a nanny for several different families over the years. I am also a mom to a 2-year-old boy, J! I believe it's important to get children outside to play and explore everyday, and to create a safe, nurturing environment in which they can comfortably play and learn. As a caregiver I believe it's my duty to gently guide children through their days and help foster a confident sense of self. I would love to care for another toddler in our home part time. I believe it would be a great benefit to my son's and any prospective children's social and emotional development. Our home has a plentiful variety of toys and activities for littles, we also prioritize a non toxic lifestyle when it comes to cleaning products, and food. Ellen is WONDERFUL! She worked with us for 1 year as a full time nanny for our infant son, as part of a nanny share. She was incredibly patient, caring, responsible, and communicative. She treated our son as if he was her own - always wanting the best for him and his development. As the first nanny for our first child we feel so lucky to have found her. Would highly recommend Ellen.
