Hello! Thank you for considering me in your search for childcare. I've had many years of experience working with kids. I started babysitting when I was a teenager for local families, and have been a professional babysitter for the past six years. I have the most experience babysitting kiddos aged 0-6 years old; however, I have worked with and feel comfortable watching older children and young teenagers. Much of my childcare training and knowledge came from working as a camp counselor at the Chicago Botanic Gardens for five summers. My job was to help organize, prepare and lead science, nature, art, ecology, and cooking camp classes for 2-12-year-olds. I was also the Before and After Care attendant for two years, watching a group of up to 8 kids for additional hours before and after camp. During my time at the Chicago Botanic Gardens, I also gained experience working with children with special needs including kids on the autism spectrum, and cerebral palsy.
