As a nanny, I have 11+ years experience in childcare for infants up through adolescence to early teens. In the past, I have performed light duties, ran errands, personal care responsibilities, and was First Aid/CPR certified. I also have experience with special needs children. I enjoy working with infants, toddlers and elementary school age children. During my college years, I pursued my goals of working with children with special needs. I trained as a CCT and received my certificate in child care for children who are physically, emotionally, or psychologically challenged. I loved "adding value and support" to the lives of the kids. I felt my experience at the facility was very rewarding, feeling compassion for what the kids had experienced in their lives. In the early-mid 90's, I worked at a daycare as a Teacher's Assistant.
