About Emery

Making a positive impact on a child's life is my goal as a caregiver. My passion for working with children with disabilities led me to this fulfilling path. I have one year of experience caring for children ages 3-12+. I am patient, calm, creative, friendly, and approachable. I have a college degree and coursework in Early Child Development, and I am pursuing a bachelor's in Special Education. am comfortable caring for up to two children. I communicate with parents at pickup, and I follow their preferred communication methods. I am comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games. I am also happy to help with light housekeeping, crafts, and swimming supervision, as I was a swim instructor for several years. I am certified in First Aid Training and CPR Training. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I look forward to bringing my nurturing spirit and skills to your family!
