About Emily

Hi! As a mom of 2 and educator for 18 years, caring for children is a huge passion of mine. I have much experience with teaching in a traditional classroom setting, as well as providing personal care for families. I am also a certified Montessori Guide for primary age children (3-6 years) and have a deep connection to this pedagogy. Among my daily tasks as a personal caregiver/nanny were anything from homework help, meal preparations, cleaning and laundry, and planning engaging, age appropriate activities! I am looking for a part time opportunity that would be open to me bringing my 2 children (ages 3 & 1) as I am currently a full-time stay at home mom. In my spare time I enjoy any outdoor activity; hiking, bike riding, canoeing, walking on wooded trails; I also enjoy reading, yoga, painting, crochet, and other forms of art expression!
