About Emily

Emily was an incredible short-term nanny for our family, and we can't recommend her highly enough. She cared for our 5-year-old son each afternoon, picking him up from preschool, driving both of our children to appointments as needed, and helping with light housekeeping. She was always punctual, dependable, and flexible with our changing schedule, which made our lives so much easier. What truly set Emily apart was that she didn't just supervise our son—she intentionally helped him grow. She has a remarkable ability to recognize everyday learning opportunities and patiently coached him through important life skills, from hanging up his backpack when he got home to taking responsibility for his belongings, using good manners, and maintaining a positive attitude. She consistently reinforced good habits with kindness and encouragement. Emily also made our children's days special in so many thoughtful ways. She surprised them with her snow cone machine, took them out for fun lunches, and even brought them small gifts on her last day. It was clear that she genuinely cared about them and wanted to create happy memories. The biggest testament to the impact she had is that our kids still ask when Emily is coming over to play! We hope we'll continue to see her around the neighborhood because she truly became someone our family loves. With our son starting kindergarten, we simply aren't able to offer Emily the consistent hours she's looking for, but we absolutely plan to stay in touch. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have Emily as their nanny. She is caring, dependable, engaging, and genuinely invested in helping children learn and thrive.
