Registered Pediatric ER Nurse with a background in fine arts, education & behavioral support. Look for a part-time position to accompany my job as an RN. I love what I do at the hospital, but I miss getting to work and play with kids when they're not sick! My ideal situation would be with a family that wants a nanny for the occasional event/date night, up to as often as 1x/week. If it seems to be a good fit, I'd also be open to nannying overnights if you need to go out of town for the weekend, etc. I am very comfortable caring for kiddos with chronic and complex medical conditions. I also have experience building a trusting relationship with children who have different abilities or thrive in specific psychosocial and sensory environments. I can provide emotional/behavioral support and consistency in your preferred parenting techniques. In my spare time, I like to paint, get outdoors (hiking and rock-climbing) and spend time with family/friends as well as my two hairless cats.
