About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily and I would love to be your part time babysitter! I'm new to Minneapolis--I just moved from New York where I worked as a full time nanny for a lovely family for two years with their 4-year-old and new born baby. I also have experience working for families with 3 kids ages 8-14. I love being with kids and doing arts and crafts (my favorite is origami), hanging out, and having fun conversations! My schedule is very flexible during the month of August until I start a new job September 1st- after which I could be available on a case-by-case basis!! I am a professional opera singer! So a lot of my free time is spent practicing and preparing for gigs I have coming up. Otherwise, I love to read and watch movies. I am a very open and honest communicator. I also love very clear and specific instructions. Every child and family is different-I just like to make sure I can do everything needed to make you and your children comfortable.
