About Emily

Childcare is far more than my job, it is my passion. My interest in caring for children began when I was little more than a child myself, and I quickly became the default babysitter in my town. Over the past decade I have transformed that interest into both a profession and an academic pursuit. Last year I completed my bachelor's degree in Developmental Psychology and my thirteenth year as a professional care provider. My educational background and interest in childhood development drive my approach to childcare. I am committed to continue to learn and grow in my field and apply my knowledge to my position in order to create a safe and secure environment that fosters the emotional, cognitive and social development of the children in my care. My attention to detail and action-oriented personality make for a thoughtful and efficient addition to a busy home. Regardless of my role, my aim remains the same: to make life easier, happier, and healthier for my families.
