About Emily

My name is Emily. I have 7 years of experience nannying and working as a daycare teacher. I babysat a family of 3 children, one nonverbal autistic, when I was in high school. Then I graduated a semester early and started my career as a toddler teacher. I spent about 6 months with toddlers and switched to infancy care. I worked as an infant teacher from 2019, until recently. In the beginning of this year, I made the decision to leave the daycare to become a full time nanny. I currently nanny a 9-month-old boy full time, and I completely adore him! I'm so grateful for this family, but unfortunately they've made a career change and won't need me after June 28th. I'm looking into registering at Tri-C for early childhood education, or possibly going into special education. Because I'm considering school, I am open to a part time position though I would prefer a full time position. As of now, I am just looking to find a family that is the right fit for me, that's most important!
