SEEKING I've been a part-time nanny for a family for a year. I'm incredibly loyal, and I don't tend to leave them. I am looking to add another family to be equally loyal to, as nannying is my occupation while paying for my college tuition at Wayne State University; I desire to become a Child Life specialist at some point. GOAL As a nanny, I focus on activities that target a child's developmental milestones, including their overall well-being, social/emotional, gross and fine motor, language, and cognitive development, according to age. I am big on practicing positive psychology to build a child's confidence and self-love and being there to help them reach resilience when things go wrong. We're all going to make mistakes; I view mistakes as an opportunity for growth and maturing of the mind, and I use top-down processing through my communication. WHO I AM I am flexible, optimistic, on time, communicative, and adaptable. I am a lifelong learner and enjoy growing as a human.
