About Emily

Hi! I'm Emily, an online college student studying Early Childhood Education at Regent University. I love working with children and enjoy creating a safe, positive, and fun environment where kids feel comfortable being themselves. My Early Childhood Education coursework has helped me learn more about child development, age-appropriate activities, health and safety, and how to support children's social and emotional needs. I'm responsible, patient, attentive, and comfortable following a family's routines and instructions. Outside of school, I was a college soccer athlete and an honors student, experiences that strengthened my teamwork, time-management, communication, and dependability. I'm energetic enough to keep up with active kids, but I also enjoy quieter activities like reading, crafts, and games.
