About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily, and I am a credentialed teacher with a Master's degree in Literacy and extensive experience working with children of all ages and abilities. I currently work as a Reading Intervention Teacher, where I support students with reading, language, and learning needs. I am patient, dependable, and enjoy creating a safe, positive environment where children can learn, play, and feel supported. In addition to general childcare, I can help with homework, reading practice, educational activities, crafts, and keeping children engaged throughout the day. I have experience working with English learners and children with diverse learning needs, including developmental and intellectual disabilities. Families appreciate my calm, nurturing approach and strong communication skills. As a parent myself, I understand the importance of finding someone you can trust with your children.
