About Emily

Hi, I'm Emily!! I recently moved to Philadelphia to pursue a Master's degree at Thomas Jefferson. I have multiple years of experience with kids through substitute teaching, childcare, tutoring, and athletics. I started during COVID-19 when schools were shut down. In a time of adjustment, I helped local families with childcare and tutoring while their kids attended school virtually. During my senior year of college, I worked as a substitute teacher with multiple age groups, following lesson plans and keeping students engaged. While playing soccer, I coached a team of 8-year-old girls, led practices, taught skills, and worked with groups of kids through 1-on-1 training and camps. I am BLS (CPR + AED) certified and substitute teaching. I love working with active families who enjoy the outdoors, crafts, and hands-on activities.
