About Emily

Throughout my life I have worked with children in various different spaces. I've worked with infants- pre-teens at summer camps, after school programs, morning programs, and within the classroom. I have traveled to Spain and Poland to nanny and teach English and filmmaking! I graduated from AU with a degree in Film&Media and Special Education. I'd describe my personality as energetic, funny, and empathetic! I like working with kids because they can teach us how adults sometimes take things too seriously! I'm looking for a job that allows me to enjoy my last DC summer! I started working with kids when I was 13 years old, as my neighborhoods babysitter! In my spare time, I like to go on bike rides, go to the pool, watch movies, paint, and cook. One thing you should know about me is I have experience working with children on all areas of the spectrum! My skills include engagement, emotional wellbeing, and creating positive atmospheres.
