About Emily

At this time I am currently a stay at home mom with my new 2-month-old. My husband is attending medical school at UNMC, so I am looking for a part-time job while he is in school! (Additionally, my son is nursing so he would be with me throughout the day! He is a very calm baby and loves to be around kids! Considering my husband and I come from families of over 8 children!) My passion for fostering children's growth and development, coupled with my desire to positively impact their lives, led me to this rewarding profession. With experience in classical homeschooling I would love to help your child thrive academically. I'm a patient, calm, creative, and imaginative individual who easily connects with children on their level. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and ensuring a structured environment for the children in my care. I believe in setting boundaries while also allowing children the freedom to explore and learn.
