About Emily

I kick started my professional journey in childcare in 2019 at the People's Institute, a daycare center in Northampton, MA. I've been actively involved in providing exceptional care to children of various ages. My responsibilities at the center included not only supervising and engaging the kids but also delivering medical care, preparing meals, organizing physical activities, and fostering a love for reading. On weekdays, I picked the kids up from school and brought them to the daycare where we did tons of fun activities such as; arts and crafts, reading, swimming, board games, sports, and occasionally watching movies! I had such a positive experience, the job taught me countless responsibilities and leadership skills. My experience extends beyond daycare settings as I have been a trusted babysitter for several years. I am comfortable with caring for babies under 6 months old, bringing a well-rounded skill set to ensure the well-being of children at various developmental stages.
