About Emily

Hi there! I'm an experienced caregiver with a Master's in Special Education, a background as an academic specialist, and 13+ years of nannying and babysitting experience. As I transition out of full-time teaching, I'm seeking part-time work, whether a consistent schedule, after-school help, or date nights. I'm strong at homework help and tutoring, and I love teaching executive functioning skills. I also support social-emotional growth, helping kids build coping and emotional regulation skills. Mentoring kids is one of my favorite parts of this work! As a certified yoga teacher who loves the outdoors and creativity, I encourage hands-on play, movement, and fresh air over screen time. I also have house management experience, from pick-ups and errands to organizing, scheduling, travel planning, and overnights, and I'm happy to help with light household tasks.
