About Emily

My journey into childcare began with my large family, where I joyfully took care of my younger siblings and cousins. I loved getting to connect with them and be able to play a role in making a difference in their lives. I prioritize clear and open communication with parents. Whether through regular text updates or phone calls, I ensure that parents are always informed about their child's day and any matters that arise. I also respect the preferred communication method of each family. I'm highly comfortable enforcing household rules and believe in creating a consistent and safe environment for children. From outdoor sports to board games, I enjoy a variety of activities with children. I'm also comfortable going on errands or small outings, especially during the summertime. I am currently a student at VCU and am certified in CPR training. I can comfortably care for up to three children of various ages, from infants to preteens. I'm also proficient in both English and German!
