HELLO there! I am Emily, a 32-year-old who previously worked in a 4th grade classroom as an educational coach with a national service organization. I provided high-quality coaching and tutoring services to students in attendance, behavior, and course performance in order to advance student performance and success in those areas. As a second job, I nannied a wonderful 2-year-old boy for the year, helping him to become potty trained, explore nature, and learn while in my care. Additionally, I was the assistant swim coach with children age 5-18yrs-old at the local pool. I provided swimmers personal and social development for lifetime skills, improved their technical and physical skills of swimming and most importantly; offered a fun and enjoyable environment.

I had the opportunity to work with Emily for approximately a year with AmeriCorps NCCC. I was the manager of Emily's team, which completed community service for a year with about 10 other members. Working with her was a great experience and I can truly recommend her for any opportunity. She is extremely kind and hardworking and pays close attention to detail on all tasks. Furthermore Emily takes initiative and leads by example. She helps out others and tries to make sure her coworkers and those she is responsible for are having a beneficial time. Emily is extremely passionate about working with children and it was very obvious that she put so much thought and care into every child she worked with. We had a particular project working with a day camp in rural Utah and Emily's passion for working with children really showed. She would get to know every child and could communicate with them better than most. Her kindness and passion was evident to the children, as they always came to her for attention, advice and more. I highly recommend Emily and am sure that she will be of great help to any child or parent!
