Hi there! My name is Emily and I am an Ed Tech 3 in special education at an elementary school in Auburn, Maine. I have been working as a part time nanny since last fall. About me: I have one wonderful son who is almost 14 and in the 8th grade this year! I recently got married in June to my best friend in a beautiful small town in Vermont. We used to own a business together called The Frisky Whisk in Gray, Maine. We have one dog, a beautiful beagle mix named Pepper. I really enjoy gardening and love cooking and baking with ingredients that I've grown! This fall I'll be participating in the Maine Horticulture Apprentice Training and working with the school garden coach and in the school garden with our students! In 2021, I completed the Learning Facilitator Micro Credential Program from EMCC. I've worked for several years as a BHP and prior to the elementary school, I worked at Essential Learning Solutions preschool in Lisbon, Maine. I also have First Aid/CPR training.

Emily is a wonderful caregiver with so much to offer! I hired her to pick up my 6 year old from the bus and hang with her after school to help support my work schedule. She is super reliable, punctual and respectful and always went above and beyond to make sure my girl had fun even in the short time they spent together. She also helped care for my dog! Her years of experience and calm, loving presence would be an asset to any family.
