Hi! I'm Emily, a teacher, a new mom to my sweet 4-month-old daughter, & someone who has always enjoyed caring for others. Before becoming a teacher, I worked for a year as a Hospitality Aide in a nursing home. I made beds, passed snacks, assisted residents with eating meals, provided companionship, & helped support their daily comfort and well-being. I was a certified feeding assistant at the time. That experience taught me the importance of patience, kindness, & treating every person with dignity and respect. I truly enjoyed getting to know the residents and brightening their day through conversation and compassionate care. My teaching background has strengthened my communication, organization, and problem-solving skills while reinforcing the importance of meeting each person's individual needs. As someone who values family, I understand how important it is to find a caregiver you can trust. I'd love the opportunity to provide dependable, compassionate care for your loved one.
