About Emily

My name is Emily! I'm a full-time student studying family life and human development. Although I'm studying to become a researcher and I'm hoping to specialize in adolescence, I also love nannying on the side! I've taken care of infants to 12-year-olds and I love helping with meal prep and household duties. My first nannying job involved taking care of a 15-month-old boy every other weekend. We had so much fun going to parks, the beach, and the library. Even when we stayed home, I tried to involve as much learning into playtime as possible. Recently, I nannied for a 5 m/o boy four days a week, and sometimes for his 3 y/o sister too! I love to babysit because I love interacting with younger children. I try to emulate the same gentleness and care that my brothers gave me growing up, and I aim to be as involved as possible, because every little step of growth is essential! I have never been more blessed than when I've been given the honor of being entrusted with the care of a child.
