Emma seems kind and experienced, and she has a strong background working with children, including those with special needs. However, we had originally reached out to her back in October and didn’t receive a response until many months later. When she did reply, we clarified that the role involved supporting a 16-year-old with severe autism and emphasized the importance of prior experience or comfort in that type of setting. Unfortunately, we didn’t hear back after that follow-up message. Emma may be a great fit for many families, but based on our experience, communication and follow-through could have been better.
