About Emma

There are not enough positive things to say about our experience with Emma as our nanny. Emma has been with us since our twins were seven months old and they are now about to turn three years old. She is warm, gentle, creative, fun, responsible, professional, competent, flexible, and so so nurturing. Emma has helped us navigate the ups and downs of infancy and toddlerhood - sleep regressions, tantrums, illnesses, teething, potty training, learning to walk, learning to talk, and so on - she is always ready to dive right in to help and bring a calm energy. The kids spend their days with Emma doing crafts, reading, building forts, playing games, learning how to be kind to themselves and one another, and playing outside. My favorite thing about Emma is the exploring spirit she encourages in the the girls about the outdoors and nature, taking them outside everyday. More recently, Emma has supported our family through some hardship that has ultimately resulted in our relocation. She makes sure that the girls always receive extra support and love through transitions and learning new skills, and is very attuned to their needs. She provides fun updates throughout the day, which are so uplifting. We would highly recommend Emma for anyone looking for childcare, and especially a long-term nanny. She has been such a positive and memorable person in our children's lives.
