About Emma

Hi! I'm Emma, a UNC Asheville graduate with a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. I currently work as a medical assistant in gynecology and have 7+ years of experience working with children and teens through caregiving, mentoring, community programs, and healthcare-related roles. I'm dependable, patient, warm, and comfortable caring for children with a wide range of personalities, needs, and routines. I especially enjoy creating a calm, engaging environment through play, reading, crafts, and age-appropriate learning. My background in psychology and neurodiversity research has also given me experience communicating with children who may need a little extra patience, structure, or support. I'd love to connect with families looking for occasional evening, weekend, or date-night care.
