Hey, there! I'm Emmerson, but feel free to call me Emmie! I am a 21-year-old female, majoring in Psychology as a junior undergraduate student. I attend a local college as a transfer, studying with my Associate's Degree in General Education with a concentration in behavioral science! I am CPR-certified, and I hold my BCAT credential (Board Certified Autism Technician) through BICC. I am currently employed at a pediatric neurology clinic as a Behavioral Tech for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have a deep passion for working with neurodivergent kiddos, with my approach to caregiving heavily focused in allowing them to be their authentic selves. I prioritize patience and compassion to help shape a supportive and safe environment for everyone I care for, and I find that communication with family and parents is always key.
