About Emory

I'd describe my personality as patient, thoughtful and nurturing. I like working with kids because kids see the world in beautiful ways. This generation of kids is going to create a wonderful future, and I'd like to help encourage and protect them on that journey. I started working with kids when I helped my mom raise 3 younger siblings. I also spent my high school years babysitting many wonderful children. Later in college I taught music enrichment to pre-school kids. This is one of my fondest memories. Seeing kids' confidence bloom as they discover their own creativity. Seeing their faces light up when they experience and create new things. These are the truly wonderful moments that inspire me to continue working with kids. In my spare time, I like to sing, explore nature, cook fun dishes and spend quality time with friends and family.
