I love helping people learn. While in high school I was a member of National Honor Society, and volunteered to help students struggling in English, math and science. I am an honors graduate from NIPMUC Regional High School where I maintained a 3. 7 GPA, received an SAT score of 690 on the English writing section and earned 37 college credits from 7 AP classes. Currently I attend UMass Lowell Honors College bioinformatics program. I have a 3. 9 GPA and participate in UTeach, a program where I developed original lessons and taught elementary and middle school students. Personally, I am a concert and jazz pianist and taught piano lessons to beginners. Finally, I am an assistant instructor at New England Karate Academy, where I hold the rank of 2nd degree black belt in Ken-Ru Kenpo Karate and sword.
