About Erica

I am passionate about mentoring students and helping them succeed in their classes and careers. I hold individualized, one-on-one, Zoom, and in-person tutoring sessions for science and math curriculum ranging from 4th grade to college-level courses. My most recent experience has been as a Lecturer and Program Coordinator at Johns Hopkins University Center for Biotechnology Education, I began teaching a Mammalian Cell Culture Techniques course in the same JHU MS in Biotechnology program from which I graduated in 2020. I had the privilege of teaching students from across the globe with a wide variety of disciplines and life perspectives. There is nothing more gratifying than observing firsthand the intellectual maturation process among my students. Currently, I am pursuing my Ph. D at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology.
