About Erica

Hello! My name is Erica. I grew up between Colorado and Vermont, skiing at high altitude and sailing the waters of Lake Champlain. Some things I am passionate about are; spontaneous daily adventures, unique art projects, rock-climbing, cooking, poetry, and documentary filmmaking, I have been involved in youth leadership and empowerment for over eight years, spending my summers teaching sailing and archery at a summer camp, and mentoring various groups of youth. Outside of my involvement with summer camp, I have experience working with a wide variety of families, with kids ages ranging from 6mo - 13 years old. Most recently I have been a guide for underrepresented youth in the outdoors, leading week-long river trips and teaching writing and filmmaking skills. I am looking forward to finding a family in the Boulder area I can develop a meaningful relationship with. I am excited to take the kids on adventures, work on fun art projects, and help with homework and tasks around the house.
