I am a certified teacher through the state of RI. I have taught grades 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, and 8. I hold a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Merrimack College. Phonics, Spelling, and Reading are my favorite subject areas to teach! I also enjoy teaching math to grades 1-3, and helping older students in basic Spanish, writing papers, acing science fair projects or any other school project, and bringing literature to life! Teaching grammar skills, how to write a paper, how to interpret a story/reading passage and make a cohesive response, are some of my fortes for tutoring older students in grades 5-12. I have great computer skills and can help students master Google Suite as well.
